BixTools respects the intellectual property rights of creators and content owners around the world and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. No Hosting of Third Party Media or User Files
BixTools operates as a technical utility provider. Our PDF, image, and text tools process files locally inside the visitor's own web browser without uploading or storing files on our servers. Our video and thumbnail tools act purely as user initiated technical interfaces for publicly accessible links and do not host, archive, or distribute video or image libraries on BixTools servers.
2. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or an agent authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, and you believe that any shortened link or resource accessible through BixTools infringes upon your copyright, please send a written DMCA notice containing the following details:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
- Identification of the infringing URL: The exact BixTools URL or shortened link that you are requesting us to disable or block.
- Your contact information: Your full name, organization (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address.
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy & authority statement: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name at the bottom of your email is sufficient).
3. Where to Send Your Notice
Send your DMCA notice to our designated copyright contact at hello@bixtools.com with the subject line DMCA Takedown Notice, or submit it directly through our Contact Us page by choosing Report a link or DMCA notice. We review all valid notices promptly and disable offending links or URLs within 1 to 2 business days.
